Another superhero: Measure L man!

You might have seen him yesterday at the Temescal Farmer’s Market, at the Rockridge Halloween parade or — if you live in Trestle Glen — trick-or-treating with his kids. Measure L man tells me he found a number of people who didn’t know much about the $195 Oakland schools parcel tax measure, but I’m sure he fixed that. After all, “fighting cuts to your public schools” is his middle name.
Are you voting for Measure L?

@bob spencer let me guess you would be one of those heroes, right
well not with DOLORES HUERTA LEARNING ACADEMY you weren’t. if I recall you were President of the board during its years of operating. The school failed to educate the students. Finally the changed came and the school was removed from your power and went into better hands.

No personal attacks, please. This thread is about Measure L, a school parcel tax measure on today’s ballot.

Yes, yes, yes.
Three voters in our house. One of them is 18, voting for the first time today, and he has high-functioning autism. He supports OUSD public schools because they have educated and supported him for the last 14 years (pre-K, K, and 1-12). They helped get him where he is today – a freshman at CSUEB.
