and our Fed manipulated economy, teachers won’t have to feeeeel conscience striken about the prospect of CalSTRS “social injury” investments, BECAUSE there will be nothing left to invest when public pensions are squeezed to death by ZIRP, the coming mega-inflation, tapped out tax payers, and cooked private sector golded geese – no longer able to help lay your golden retirement eggs because they’re bankrupt or have migrated out of state or country.

During the coming years teachers are going to learn first hand about the consequences of “social injury,” wrought by ignorant statists and their adoring masses.

This even though it contradicts the CalSTRS investment responsibility clauses:

“The consideration of non-economic factors is for the purpose of ensuring that the Retirement System, either through its action or inaction, does not promote, condone or facilitate social injury.”

Even if one doesn’t care about “social injury” (& I’m betting most teachers do care), on strictly financial basis there are liability issues.

California Teachers should be aghast at CalSTRS and should make their voices heard about this.
