Ok, have kind of a strategy question this week. This week I’m playing a team that also has LT. His team looks pretty weak, but you never know. Would it be smart to start LT just to negate him? It’s hard since I have such a strong RB line and can’t decide what to do, I have:
Frank Gore vs PHI
Reggie Bush vs OAK
Brandon Jacobs @ CLE
Jonathan Stewart vs KC
LT vs NE
I’m thinking Jacobs will probably be strong, Bush is playing a horrible team and Gore seems to always do well. LT’s toe is still bothering him, but you never know, haven’t sat him yet. Anyways, I have 2 RB’s and a swing I imagine I’d use to start a RB, I’ll list the WR’s at the bottom so you get the whole picture
I also have GB this week vs ATL, since the Titans are on bye. Should I drop them and try and pick up NO vs OAK?
Greg Jennings @ SEA (prob start)
Santana Moss vs STL (prob start)
Torry Holt @ WAS
Desean Jackson @ SF
Eddie Royal vs JAC
Donte’ Stallworth vs NYG (he gonna play?)
Thanks for all your help

I’ll start at the top.
Of those RBs, the only play that’s probably weak is Gore. The Eagles, with the exception of last week, have a strong run defense, plus Martz is doing his best to prove all the critics true and air it out exclusively.
Bush has been torching defenses, KC and NE haven’t been able to stop the run and Cleveland is Cleveland. I’d go with Bush, Jacobs and LT, mostly because they’ve been getting more touches than Stewart.
The Packers are a risky play just because Atlanta is either dominant or terrible and you don’t know which team is going to show up, but so is New Orleans because nobody’s ever seen Cable as a head coach, who knows what he’s going to come out with.
If you can get the Vikings or Redskins those are pretty sure things, otherwise just stick with the unknown already on your roster.

I was just wondering what your thoughts on Kevin Faulk and Cedric Benson are? My starters are Adrian Peterson and Marion Barber but, my only backup’s right now are Chester Taylor (in case AP injury) and Rudi Johnson. Would like to add at least another backup and the pickings are pretty slim right now on the waiver wire. Out of Faulk and Benson, what do you think would be the better pickup? Thanks

Toss up for Flex position:
Roy Williams at Minn (weak pass defense, but also weak offense)
or
Earnest Graham vs Car. (pretty good defense but playin on road)
who would you play?

Sorry this took so long. Two-for-one…
Parlayjay:
Right now probably Faulk, but neither of those is a whole lot better than what you have. Benson is a huge risk and nobody in the Patriots backfield is getting much work, at least Taylor is a handcuff and Rudi has shown something this year.
I’d stay the course until a starter gets injured or a borderline player breaks out. If you’re watching a game on Sunday and James Brown or Curt Menefee mentions either of those things go to your computer and make a move before anyone else notices.
Dave:
I’m not a big believer in the home/road split now that every dome team has converted from glorified indoor-outdoor carpet to FieldTurf, but I’d still go with Ernest Graham. He’s got a solid YPC on a solid team. Playing a WR on a bad team over a RB on a good one is dangerously close to overthinking things.
