Ah, Week 14. For many of you the last week of the fantasy season. For some, the first week of the playoffs. And for a very unlucky minority the second to last game of the season…to those in leagues that hold their championship game Week 17, basically a glorified preseason game for the league’s stars, I send my condolences.
Post your questions in the comments of this here post and we’ll answer them.

It’s the first game of the playoffs for me and I’m playing a tough team. I’ve been real busy the last couple of weeks and not really sure where to go, so I’ll just list who I have.
QB (1)
Favre @ SF
Rothlisberger vs DAL
RB (2)
LT vs OAK
Frank Gore vs NYJ
Brandon Jacobs vs PHI
Reggie Bush vs ATL
Jonathan Stewart vs TB
WR (2)
Greg Jennings vs HOU
Santana Moss @ BAL
Bernard Berrian @ DET
Eddie Royal vs KC
Torry Holt @ ARI
I’m gonna start Witten at TE and also have a wr/rb/te slot
I was thinking Favre, LT, Gore, Jacbos, Jennings, Berrian, but I’m looking for any advice I can get. Thanks.

QB: I wouldn’t start anyone against the Dallas D right now. Ware and Ratliff will make any QB make bad throws. Favre by default.
RB: We don’t know which Raiders will show up, the ones that killed the Broncos or the ones who folded against the Chiefs. But odds are the Denver game was a fluke so start LT.
As for the other one, it’s between Gore and Jacobs. Gore has had a couple bad games in a row. So look at the defenses. The Jets have the league’s fourth-best run D allowing only 82 yards per game, the Eagles eighth are allowing about 94. Not much better but I’d still go with Jacobs.
WR: Jennings is automatic. Berrian is playing the Lions, and he caught that incredible 99 yard TD last week against a far better team, so I’d go for him too.
And since Gore was neck and neck with Jacobs him too.
So yeah, I basically agree with you exactly. So I wasn’t help so much as an excuse if things go really poorly.
Good luck in the playoffs.

I’m really hoping Favre has a big game after a disappointing one last week. Anyways, out of curiosity what do you think my chances are against:
Kurt Warner vs STL
Thomas Jones @ SF
Brian Westbrook @ NYG
Brandon Marshall vs KC
Wes Welker @ SEA
Bo Scaife vs CLE
Indianapolis vs CIN
John Carney (NYG vs PHI)
Amari Toomer vs PHI
I’m also starting Witten (@PIT), Tennessee (vs CLE) and either Nate Kaeding (SD vs OAK) or Matt Bryant (TB @ CAR), I picked up Matt Bryant, but not sure on this one. He also might start Portis.
Anyways, I really appreciate the help.

I wouldn’t venture a guess about Favre. Niners D went from a sieve against Dallas to bringing the pain to Trent Edwards and Favre went from “back to form” to “so that’s why the Pack let him go”. Depends on whether one or both of those is a fluke or trend.
Anyway, I’m predicting a victory for you, possibly by as much as 13 but probably by a fairly narrow margin.
Warner’s probably going to have a good game but the weak Rams run D is going to limit how much they make him throw, Jones is tough to call since the Niners D is so schizophrenic and the Browns are starting Ken Dorsey so Indy’s D looks like a good play. Westbrook is iffy against an incredibly solid D, Marshall is inconsistent and who knows about Welker.
Of course it depends in large part on how LT does tonight so be sure to tune in.
