Back to Basics with the GAP

More and more, I think the Gap is starting to appreciate what made them a cool store in the beginning: the basics.
Once again, they use the power of celebrity with a flawless ad campaign that includes black and white photography by Annie Leibovitz. Introduced last week, “Classics Redefined” drapes some of the Gap’s most iconic clothing on fabulous faces of film, music and entertainment like John Mayer, Lucy Liu and Regina King.
As for my favorites, I love the images of funny girl Sarah Silverman looking Parisian in a pair of wide leg trousers and that pic of Selma Blair is strikingly calm…
Like I said before, Gap sure knows how to put out some good ad campaigns.
