Fine and dandy: One of my favorite designers, John Varvatos gives us the tale of a former punk-rock heroin addict turned dandy-class gentleman CEO of his own record label.

Shades of gray: Going with the popular “economic crisis” neutral color trend of the season, Varvatos gives us plenty of blacks and grays to drool over as well the occasional rusty maroon.

I loved… Everything. He’s my favorite menswear designer, remember? I especially loved the chunky knits he served up on the runway as well as the slim fit two button suits. The shawl neck collar cardigan made me want to take up knitting, while the gigantic scarves made me feel warm by just looking at them.

I wasn’t a fan of… Like I said, I loved everything.
Metallic delight: Usually, I am not a fan of the lustrous fare when it comes to menswear, but I couldn’t take my eyes off of the shimmery garments that made their way down the catwalk.

Fan for life: Varvatos will never let me down. He knows how to combine Euro class with American flair ingeniously.
