If you don’t know who Janelle Monáe is, then you need to know. She’s been compared to Prince and has worked with those brilliantly eccentric blokes from Outkast.
Fusing Broadway, theatrics, sci-fi, hip-hop and everything in between, Monáe gives a refreshing new take on music that the world desperately needs.
As for her fashion sense, she is what I like to call hip-hop-a-billy - hip-hop and rockabilly combined, dusted lightly with the charm of Katharine Hepburn.
Keep an eye out for her. Also, consider this a preview for a bigger piece I am working on about her.

I just got my license n that is the only CD I have in my car!!!! I love her!!!!
She is so much better than Rihanna and so much cuter too!
She needs her own TV show!!!!
