Current obsession: Jennifer Beals and “Flashdance”

Ever since I saw Jennifer Beals at the GLAAD Awards this past weekend, I can’t get that song “What a Feeling!” out of my head.
I was talking with some random photographer at the event and we were talking about the most significant moments in the movie Flashdance - the noodle eating trick, the tuxedo shirt thing she made, the welding, the sweaty gyrating to “Maniac,” the water splash on stage, the leg warmers - but we agreed that the most important scene was this one:
And I must applaud Jennifer Lopez for reenacting the movie in her video for “I’m Glad” -
I miss the dancing J. Lo. She needs to make it hot again.
