With her mellow and endearingly somber voice (she can also belt out some serious diva-rich notes too), Adele seems to be the gal to be listening to.
She’s already made a name for herself across the pond, but her album just got released stateside on June 10. She has this Dido-esque flair with less angst and more emotional heft. She in the same soul/throwback camp with her peers Duffy and Amy Winehouse.
Her song, “Chasing Pavements” is like a steady flow of soul - and the video is pretty fun, with its play on pavement…
