…I’m 100 percent serious.
Chocoholics beware! The Bryant Park Hotel in New York has a new room that is made entirely of chocolate - well, maybe not entirely.
Actress Ali Larter (donned in a stunning Carolina Herrera dress), of the NBC series “Heroes” was on hand to unveil the 2008 Godiva Decadence Suite - and it is ridiculously decadent.

The mantle on the fireplace is made of chocolate, the table is made of chocolate - I am going into sugar shock by just looking at the pictures. I am also drooling
The sweet suite is a part of Godiva’s special “Ultimate Chocolate Fantasy” contest for Valentine’s day. One lucky couple will get to stay in this room and enjoy the comfort of a chocolate marshmallow bed and a chocolate bathtub full of chocolate water and a chocolate plated bidet.
Ok, I am not to sure if all of the above is included in the room, but you get the picture.

With so many female celebs going to jail, getting DUIs, showing their crotches, getting sloshed, making a mockery of Hollywood and giving tabloids gossip meat to feed on like vultures to rotting carcasses, we seldom see the real ladies of Hollywood.
Now I am sure these ladies are not perfect angels, but they know how to keep their stardom and personal lives separate while maintaining dignity. We see them for what their talent and nothing else. They are great role models of style and are far from that trash heap that many other female A-minus-listers hang around too often. They prove that you can be famous without being sleazy.
So this is dedicated to all the ladies of Hollywood who are genuinely ladies:
Jennifer Hudson, the girl of our dreams

Scarlett Johansson - the perfect example of a modern Hollywood starlet

Harvard graduate and she can act (not to mention gorgeous) - Natalie Portman is fabulous from all angles

Ali Larter is a “Hero” who knows how to keep her life, looks and talent in order

America Ferrera knows how to work the red carpet and the homegirl has an Emmy - and I don’t think she has ever shaved her head and had mental breakdown in public

Sassy, stylish and a Grammy winning singer - I heart Alicia Keys

Anne Hathaway has shown that you can be racy, funny and dramatic in her movies, yet still keep it together in the public eye - YOU GO GIRL!

Gorgeous! Glamorous! And she can act AND sing! Emmy Rossum stays under the tabloid radar and still remains on the A-list

Ali Larter, who plays the volatile Jekyll and Hyde-ish character on the Emmy-nominated Heroes, matches the red carpet in this flattering strapless crimson gown that Larter was born to wear. With an endearing tie-at-the-front detail, the draping goodness conforms to her body and ups the ante on her sexy-factor.

On the most-talked about comedy (not to mentioned Emmy-nominated), Ugly Betty, Rebecca Romijn is a “shim” - so to speak. Man, woman or whatever, she invokes nuances of old Hollywood with this flapper-ish gown that flows in all the right places. The hair is glamorous. The gown gives a little shimmy and a shake. And Romijn is smokin’ hot on the red carpet.

Seinfeld alum, Julia Louis-Dreyfus is no stranger to the Emmys. She’s nominated once again for The New Adventures of Old Christine In this stunning grapey structurally and beautifully sound gown, continues to play with the trend of fitted on top and flowy on bottom.

So besides discovering my inner uber geek at Wondercon by seeing previews of anticipated movies - especially the made-for-Wondercon-only trailer for Spider-Man, I was honestly a little underwhelmed with the costumes that many of the diehard fans were wearing. And to be even more honest, I was a little disappointed in the nerd-factor at this event - it was quite low. I guess that’s just a stereotype, but to see real blatant geek fashion would be very editorial. There was a good mix of people - families, trendsetters, businessmen, classic nerds, older men, children, teens - it was like any normal day in the city.
But there were some fun moments…

It’s not Johnny Depp nor is it scalawags and wenches from the Black Pearl - but they are just as fun!

What is a comic/sci-fi convention without some good ol’ fashion Storm troopers?
After weaving in and out of the various comic book/sci-fi alleys, I finally came to a fashion touchstone when I got to talk to Ali Larter. Whe I saw her walking, I looked at the bottom of her shoes - and they were red. I immediately knew they were Christian Louboutin (they are just popping up all over the place, right?).
This is the umpteenth time I have sited a pair of Louboutins. Christina likes them, every gal at TCA liked them…who’s next? Click here if you want to purchase the $710 towering heel of seduction.
When I chatted with her she was more than happy to talk about her shoes and her nice little cashmere high-waisted dress that looked so chic, yet so comfortable. She offered for me to feel the lovely texture of the dress - it felt like a piece of a cirrus cloud. But it was her open toed Louboutin’s which enchanted me.
“Every time I slip on a pair of his shoes,” gushes Larter, “I feel so unbelievable sexy!”
YOWZAH! Let’s turn down the heat on that.
Larter was a sweetheart and we continued to talk about her upcoming movie, Resident Evil 3: Extinction (which was why she was at Wondercon) and a little bit about Heroes - but getting information about that show is like trying to fit a pot bellied pig through a pinhole.
