Amber Von Tussle (played by Brittany Snow) is Tracy’s “little miss priss” rival and camera hog on the “Corny Collins Show.” Her style is Martha Stewart meets “Stepford Wives” with a hint of neurosis.
Even so, she has this fresh, summery style that can be modernized:

Shoots & Stems Dress from Anthropologie, $148

Heritage cardigan in Aqua from Forever 21, $20

Steve Madden Women’s Tipie Ballet Flat from Endless.com, $31.79
…and to maintain the manners and charm of a lady, please keep a copy of this on you at all times:

Amy Vanderbilt’s Everyday Etiquette from Amazon.com, $6.99

Here at Dressed, we love the Christmas season - especially the gift shopping! That said, we are going to give you a gift idea for every day until Christmas Eve - but in all honesty, you should have all your shopping done by then. Nonetheless, from gadgets to fashion to home decor, here are items numbers 1 through 3 of our 24 Days of gifts. (I have to make up for Dec. 1 and 2!)
#1: Happy Face Covers
In the Bay Area, commuting is quite a hassle. For those of you who know someone who can use a FastTrak transponder, that’s always a good gift idea. Why not jazz it up a little bit with this stylish Happy Face Cover. The term “Happy Face” is just a fancy name because the cover doesn’t actually have a face. But it can make your transponder look less like a technological device and more sleek and James Bond-ish Available for $4.99 in black, grey and beige at www.coveryourfastrak.com.
#2: The Kenpo Jacket for iPod
I’m not really the biggest fan of crossing clothing with technology, but the more I look at these Kenpo jackets, the more I almost accept it - the key word is ALMOST. In a wide variety of styles, you can get a jacket that has a built in wiring system for your iPod. On the sleeve is a handy dandy control panel to sort through all your songs while walking through the cold. Now you can feel like your iPod is actually a part of you. That’s kind of creepy and cool at the same time. Available at JC Penney or on the Kenpo Website.
#3 Solstice Sweater Vest
Sweater vests are really stylish right now - so why not get one of your lady friends, sisters, mothers or any female this festive little number from Anthropologie. Just because it’s the winter time doesn’t mean we can’t incorporate some lively colored snowflakes among the neutral tones of the season. This vest is perfect for layering - and can be - dare i say it - “cute” - if worn correctly. Available for $88 at Anthropologie stores or on their website.
