The new “BRANDO”
I think I need to keep up with my fashion facts more diligently…apparently, people knew about this before me…
That aside, Hollywood icon, Marlon Brando was chic, handsome and he was one of the world’s most desirable men (this was more in the days of “Streetcar Named Desire”).
He seemed to have passed the hottie torch onto his grandson, Tuki Brando. Here he is on the cover of L’uomo Vogue:
To make things SCORCHIN’ hot, this homeboy is now the new face of Versace:
(MILAN) Tuki Brando, grandson of actor Marlon Brando, and a young up-and-coming actor in his own right, has been named the new face of the Versace Fall 2007 men’s campaign. The handsome teenager, born to the late Tarita Cheyenne Brando, recently graced the February cover of L’Uomo Vogue. “I live in Tahiti most of the year, so we don’t wear much,” he admitted at the Versace men’s show Saturday. “But I think Versace’s a cool brand.”
Indeed, Donatella Versace’s spring collection of muted and sober suiting, trenchcoats, classic polos with dress shirt collars, and pared-down accessories, none of which featured the astonishing prints of yesteryear, was likely a result of the proxomity of the 10th year anniversary of the death of her brother, Gianni Versace, next month, and also due to the contributions of design consultant Alexandre Plokhov, the mastermind behind the now-defunct American label Cloak. “It’s a new world of luxury under the sign of the Medusa,” the designer said. Brando’s assimilation into the fashion world appeared to be seamless: Not only did he pose for photos alongside Versace for countless paparazzi backstage, but he also showed off his athletic prowess at the afterparty, quashing his competitors in a mean game of table tennis.
So what do you think? Is he HOT? or NOT? He looks abnormally pretty to me, but has these striking features that hypnotize you into thinking you are just as tan as him.
