Are Raccoons Digging Up Your Lawn Or Causing Other Problems?

Looks like it’s "that" time of year again. I’m getting a lot of calls about "torn up lawns." If you need a copy of my free 6-page raccoon fact sheet, filled with lots of humane ideas on how to protect your yard and get along with your wild neighbors … send a legal-size, stamped (with two stamps), self-addressed envelope to: Gary’s Raccoon Help, c/o The Times, P.O. Box 8099, Walnut Creek, CA 94596-8099.

Gary, I was wondering if you read the comments sent regarding your blog entries? If you do, I was wondering if you are going to write another book? For Christmas two years ago I received an autographed copy of your book on our wildlife neighbors. One of my favorite gifts of all time! Your comments about the raccoons today reminded me of the book. I look forward to reading your column every morning (except, of course, for those dreaded days you are off or on vacation). Another book would be nice to have for those days!!!

May I have a copy of Gary’s Raccoon Help? Our problems are mostly inside (we don’t begrudge their harvesting of our apples and figs outside!). Thanks.

Please send me a copy of Gary’s Raccoon Help. The raccoons are raiding our fish pond. Not only do they eat the larger fish and water lilies but they overturn pots and leave a mess in the pond. Thanks
