I was sleeping until my fat Bombay, Chester, came crawling across my chest about 5 or 6 times. At the same time he was purring and sniffing my face like he was checking I was still alive. After that he curled up right next to me and I thought that was unusual.. because he always sleeps at the foot of my bed , no exceptions, he’s a very independent little guy.

He almost never flies so I thought “What,s got into him”, and then I felt the quake here in Concord, so I’m convinced that animals sense things before we humans do.
