Are they cool and safe?

Is my pet cool and safe? Hmmmmmmm, I am sitting in my office, looking over at my 14 year old sheltie, who is lying right on top of the floor air conditioning vent happy as can be. I bend over to pet him, and his fur is nice and cold, while I am sitting at the desk sweating because all the cold air is going right into dog fur. Who is the smartest one in this room?
