What about Purina? They “voluntarily” withdrew two of their products as a “precautionary measure.” Which products are they?

It doesn’t seem like there’s any easy answer (or ANY answer for that matter) does it? Past cases show that food grown in the USA has had its problems, and now, this foreign stuff also. Doesn’t seem like it’s a safe bet for 2 legged or 4 legged animals. I’m still in a quandary and have resorted to “hostile pilling” of my pets; it was SO easy when I could open the capsule & mix it into the food. Fortunately, none of the food that my picky eaters would even consider eating was on the list, but they’re such important parts of my life, I won’t risk it!! My heart goes out to all those affected.

I heard on Michael Savages radio show today that the wheat came from China and the poison was sprayed on it. They apparently don’t want to tell the public because so much of our food, etc. comes from different countries that don’t have the same restrictions and laws about what can go into our food supplies. Maybe we should go back to the time when MADE IN AMERICA meant something. At least we don’t kill our animals. I lost my cat, Cosmo two weeks ago to kidney failure.

My thought exactly. We can’t trust the food supply any more, human or animal. It seems that oversight, testing, inspection, etc. has been sacrificed for the sake of profits. I’m going to start making my own pet food.
