Last year she became seriously ill with gastroenteritis after the fireworks. I live in the Fruitvale area of Oakland where they are very loud. My older Basset-Beagle is very sensitive even to flashcameras,flashlites,etc.She shakes,drools,hides.I cannot put her through this again. Don’t people realize the effects fireworks have on animals? Why isn’t there more public education about this? I am afraid she could die from the stress.
