Uber is a sweet, likely purebred Doberman and is crate-trained, housebroken and trained in basic obedience. She adores people and other dogs and is spayed and up to date on her shots.
Uber was abandoned in the night drop box at Berkeley Animal Control several months ago. She had a severely infected broken jaw. She was only 7 weeks old.
She was taken to the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society (BEBHS) veterinary hospital where she was treated for her broken jaw and infection. Unfortunately after her jaw had healed, they discovered her left rear leg was growing abnormally.
Uber needs specialized surgery beyond the humane society’s capacity to fix her injured leg. They are raising money for her surgery, which could cost up to $4,000. They are also looking for a home for Uber with someone who can care for her. She could develop problems with her leg or jaw as she grows, but that can’t be predicted right now.
