Gary,

I am worried about the recent Coyote activity here in San Diego County. The ASPCA are setting traps and warning residents with pets and small children to be attentive in parks. I realize this is not an out of control situation and nature is nature. My question is how best to protect my 2 dogs-under 20 pounds. I live at the top of a canyon with a 3 inch gap fence, about 5 foot high in the backyard. My initial thought is to put a layer of chicken wire fence across to stop walk tru traffic, but obviuosly there is always a way around that. I will also control the garbage cans for less temptation. Basically my thought is supervised "play time" for the dogs and NO doggy door!!! Any comments or suggestions?

Thank you-David
