Breed – mixed. Gender – N/A. Name – “Alba” short for albatross. Hopefully, Obama can prevent becoming a reality depiction of Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s wedding guest in “The Rime of the Ancient Mariner.”

In the Coleridge poem, the albatross was metaphorically a burden to be carried, and an omen of good or bad luck.

Our president-elect has some severe housecleaning to do. At least this “albatross” can run the halls, and not be hung around his neck…

My friends and I have been discussing this issue for the last several months, and were all yearning to get a message to the Obamas that WHEN they finally were able to make good on this promise (yea!), they would do the country a world of good by adopting from a rescue or a shelter. The country is full of thrown away, perfectly suitable and just begging for love puppies and older dogs – all just needing a second chance at a wonderful life. I hope they do the right thing…! Thanks to all volunteers and saviors everywhere, who work for this daily.

They will get a female toy poodle and name it Poochie. yes tney will spray her. They have the whole nation dissecting every move tney make so they must cross their “T”s and dot their “I”s. I personally would take my tuxedo kitten Peppa with me had I had the pleasure of moving into the White House, very low-maintence.
