The path they use on the roof has destroyed our shingles, but no use replacing them until we can stop them from returning to the roof. I had heard that cayenne pepper would discourage the little varmits, but it has not ran them off from our place yet. We live in Bunker Hill, IN (the north-central part of the state). One of our cats, an 18 pound big boy apparently got into a tangle with one of them and got a laceration across the top of his head.
