Welcome Back.
Our son who grew up in Concord and visited the Lindsay museum many times, now lives in New Zealand in Wellington and in Auckland.(4 yrs) He is an environmental/civil engineer and his MS from Auckland is in sustainable architecture. When he is not underwater on the reefs, he volunteers his time on Tiritiri Matangi fixing trails and counting birds. He loves to explore and does lead groups on "tramps" through the South and North islands. His camera and walking sticks are his main equipment. He works for "Landcareresearch.com. Your pictures look very familiar as we too have visited those places. The glacier's are amazing and the color of the lakes and streams are so very blue. Tough to come back, eh?
I left a message about the time you went on vacaation. It was that I counted 7 eggs in the nest. Mother Goose has done a good job. Now I'd like to see those goslings. The Web Cam is not working at the moment. I love your column in the Tribune.
