Attached is a picture of my niece’s Bengal cat, Ozzy. He loves to turn on this faucet when no one is home! He also likes to jump in the shower with the kids!

Jan:
Reminds me of our Abyssinian cat, Tut, bless his long departed soul. One day when our then 5-year-old son Karl was taking a bath and playing with his many bath toys (parents will understand), Tut leaped into the tub to try and catch Karl’s little yellow rubber ducky. He had so much fun splashing around he started taking baths with Karl every night.

  1. Joann Ludwig Says:

My brother had a cat and a dripping sink faucet. The cat would lie in the sink covering the drain and let the water get up to its neck, then stand up let the water run out and lie down again.

My two Maine Coons have a tendency to grow Freddie Kruger-type nails. It was determined that they had to be bathed in a prescribed topical shampoo to help treat a dermatological condition resulting from new carpeting throughout the house.

They objected to being placed in a sink filled with water; and, they DID attempt to get out. Both cats, however, actually kept their claws retracted as they tried using my arm as a stepping stool out of the sink.

Compassion from cats: It exists — and it’s priceless!
