Ralph Iwasa photographed some white pelicans circling above Martinez in the last week of July. What a thrill to see!

Gary, I have also seen these white pelicans around the San Leandro reservoir. Sometimes they form a circle in the water. I walk the East Bay trail with my dog and see them most days—sometimes in flight. Really awsome!
