FYI on Toby Bridges….He is a nut!!!! Just google his name and you will find out. BTW. He only moved to MT in the summer of 2009. He is from the midwest somewhere and knows squat about NW ecosystems.

Toby Bridges thinks old and lives in the past. He does not do research, and feels that because he writes some kill-kill gun-gun pieces he is an expert on wolves. The reality is that, unfortunately, those with his thinking about the issues have blinded them to the reality that nature needs to be balanced. He does not speak for Montana residents. He only speaks for those who get a thrill out of killing wildlife from a safe distance. Let’s put it this way, Toby is probably pushing 70 and deserves to rest in peace. Perhaps a nice wolf well “decorate” his final resting place. Now won’t that be a hoot….opps, that something else that needs to be killed.

all of you city folk don’t know a damn thing as to what a pak of wolves can do to a ranchers herd. how bout if you are sitting in your kitchen having a morning cup of coffee. you are looking at your horses out in the field. a pak of 5 or 6 wolves run in, kill the horse then, run off just leaving it there to die slowly or is dead?? Bet you would change yer mind in 2 seconds. All you city folks are a joke when it comes to living with wildlife. You feed the deer right at the house, all that does is attract mountian lions along with wolves, they go where the food is easy to get. when a child is killed riding their bike by either of the two, then the FWP will go on a killing spree, all because of you brought in the mtn lions and, wolves by feeding the deer!!!

Gary and Jim, where the hell do you live…in a condo in downtown L.A., San Francisco, New York, or some other yuppie strongghold? I do live where there are wolves…and I do see the death and destruction they are dealing other wildlife…and if and when I can, I will kill wolves.

Fortunately, the vast majority of Montanans now feel the same way.

Let’s ship a few thousand wolves into “your ecosystem” and see how quickly you begin singing a different song. Right now, you are ignorant of the true facts…and your opinions mean absolutely nothing.

Mr. Bridges comment is not very constructive or intelligent – or so it seems to me. There are always ways to address problems in a intelligent manner. Mr. Bridges sounds like he has probably not considered the possibilities (if he has considered something why did he not state a soultion – since he brought up intelligence – why not an intelligent solution?). NOVA (the television program) showcased a man in England that lives with wolves – he has been able to demonstrate how wolves can be managed, by ranchers, with recorded wolf howling broadcasts. It is effective and harms no one. Does this sound like something Mr. Bridges should look into? I am certain there are plenty of intelligent Montana residents that can figure out a better solution for wolf management other than having open season on a vital member of this local ecosystem and our planet.
