Dear Project Coyote Friends & Supporters:
Tonight (Wednesday, Dec. 2) I’ll  be giving a presentation about coyotes in Marin County (San Rafael) and I wanted to let you know about it. You can read more about this here:

And many of you have e-mailed or called to let me know that you saw the piece about coyotes in the Bay area on Channel 5 (CBS) Monday night that prominently featured Project Coyote. The story is now online and you can view it on CBS’s website:

You can also read my Op Ed recently published in the Marin Independent Journal on the same subject:

We are creating a presence throughout the S.F. Bay area  –  and nationwide  –  and providing a voice for coyotes and other native carnivores at the local, state, and federal levels. The session we organized and chaired on urban coyotes at the national Carnivore Conservation conference in Denver, Colorado, this past month was jam-packed and showed just how much coyotes are of interest to so many – and we filmed it all (with the kind donation to two very talented videographers!) and will be making this available to our members and the public through our website. If you haven’t visited our website in a while, please do and check out our latest updates and new resources: http://www.projectcoyote.org

As we near the holidays, I hope you’ll consider a donation to Project Coyote to help us expand our campaigns and programs — and to actually hire staff to keep us doing our important work on behalf of America’s “song dog.” To make a safe and secure tax-deductible donation on our website, visit

Thank you for your support!
