John,
the pictures you’ve posted on Gary’s blog are wonderful. You seem to have found a positive outlook, no pun intended, to handling what is certainly a major life challenge which brought on, no doubt, an unsought transition. I read something in today’s paper that you might appreciate, it’s from Carolyn Hax’s “Tell me about it” column; On simple ways to change one’s perspective – she writes “I find that for me the simplest way to turn around a situation where “I have to” is simply to change the task or situation to “I get to.” Thanks for sharing the beauty you see in your back yard!

John, Always admired your photography and glad to see you make the news! Many people Im sure are not aware of the beauty in each day, that you have a real eye for capturing. What a gift you have for capturing nature at it’s best!
