A couple of massive birds have been seen flying, united, low and very fast over a road in New Jersey State during New Year eve. The witness are confident that what they saw is not a known bird, at least to this region.

Would you happend to have herd of anything of the like recently? I know it's not much to dig with... but if you could help it would be most apreciated.

I've seen a small bird with a yellow tail, trying to negotiate itself on a cactus in my yard. It was jumping from top to top, and learning that a cactus can prick. I've also see a blue bird that I thought was a blue jay, but the next was longer, and I saw some gray on it's back.

A couple of flickers passed through our Brentwood yard, but they have moved on. They always arrived in our Walnut Creek yard in the fall. What is their migration pattern?
