They’ve been back a few times today. Beautiful birds! I’ve lived in the Bay Area my entire life and this is my first ever sighting of these beauties!

They’ve been coming to my house for a few years. I saw the first one of this season on March 28. The female is a light yellow and no black patch at neck. They stay for about 5 months then return to Nexico. They cone here to breed and nest in palm trees. I bought an oriole feeder. Like for hummies but bigger feeding ports for their bigger beaks. They come to the feeder more than a dozen times a day. Love them.
