Need a cat? These two kitties need homes. I’d appreciate anything you can do to help. Thanks! /Gary
** CAT # 1: A recently blinded senior cat (from what appears to be a blow to the head) was found in the middle of a street in Pleasanton, California. You can see the cat’s picture above. It appears the cat was dumped there by it’s previous owner. TuAnh Nguyen and her husband spotted the kitty while driving down the road, rescued it and sought medical help:
“My husband and I took him to the vet this afternoon to do all the blood work, testing and to treat some cuts he has. He is a super sweet medium hair light auburn color cat. A major lap cat in the short time I’ve known him – amazing considering how trusting and sweet he is after what he’s been through. He even let me give him a bath without any complaint!” /TuAnh Nguyen
If you can take this sweet, older blind cat, or know someone who can, please contact TuAnh at firstname.lastname@example.org … they have dogs and can’t keep it.
** CAT #2: “The weather is getting cold and a young cat named Jasper needs a warm, dry home. He was abandoned at 2 months of age after being shot numerous times by a BB gun. He is now 5 months old, and has been neutered, had all his shots, and is healthy and very friendly. He is being fed and has a bed on a patio outside, but would love to be able to live with a family where he could come inside. He is black with a few white hairs, loves to play, and his favorite food is peanuts, which he steals from the squirrel feeder every morning. If anyone can give Jasper a home, please call 925-672-2829 for more information.” /Anna in Martinez, California
