He/She swooped down in a flash and snatched my beloved goldfish and then sat on the fencetop and swallowed it whole right in front of me. Gulp, it was gone. I had had that fish for 15 years. What a way to go. Now I just put 12 cent feeder fish in the pond and those that survive the turtles, raccoons, and herons, grow quite large.
