I honestly think their are other issues we should consider before we take on a huge project. Does the city really need this? Is it going to benefit everyone? And are we really ready for it? It's sad that the city can't really understand what is at stake. The people, homes, and local businesses will be driven out of their misery. Pretty soon, the city is going to be left with empty buildings and no people. As for our title "Heart of the Bay", it will definitely lose its "heart". We'll be like every other city and that small town vibe we were all attracted too is going to disappear.

I've recently composed a letter and an essay that briefly discusses the negative aspects of the project. And as of right now, its floating around many hayward residents and local business that are taking it a matter into their own hands to spread the word. Please sign my petition I've composed to decline route 238. Contact me if you are interested in signing. We're trying to get as many signatures as we can!
