Comments on: The Hayward Bus

The Pioneer, Cal State East Bay's student-run newspaper, sent a reporter to a Tuesday campus forum on the bus issue and did a good job in today's edition getting the story behind the changes. The paper, citing an AC Transit transportation planner, writes that the bus district proposed the changes "after they received several comments from the university community about overcrowding and the displeasure of riding with high school students." The newspaper also says that the school will probably discontinue its free campus shuttle if AC Transit implements the changes.

I support the Line 92 changes to improve service to CSUEB.

I do not like the planned changes for Line 94 because when buses come once an hour can cause crowded buses during rush hours. I think Line 94 should be every 15 or 30 minutes during rush hours.

I also asked if the 94 would operate on weekends and evenings.

I wrote a letter to AC Transit about my thoughts about the changes. I go to Hayward High whitch will be affected by the changes.
