If this plan for the Haymont Shopping Center comes together, it would be a huge improvement for that stretch of Mission Boulevard. And it would mean this affront to spelling would finally come down.

Waseem Khan, who is overseeing the renovation of the site for the property owner, said that since the plan is to bring south Asian ethnic shops to the site, he figured he’d hire an ethnic signmaker for the project.
