Among her many contributions, Dr. Gonzales has served Hayward as Asst. Superintendent for Ed Services as well as Trustee in HUSD, Associate Prof of Educational Leadership at CSUEB and has been a member of Hayward Rotary. During the last campaign, it was apparent that Dr. Gonzales has always had the best interest of Hayward in her heart. I do not expect that this was an easy decision for her, but again I believe it is what she felt was best for HUSD.
