As to illegal immigration…. if the truth were known half the Irish in the USA probably owe their
presemnce and enjoyment of citizenship to the illegal great grand parent or grandparents…. yet we manage to steal a City Hall, somewhere in the USA on a regular basis.

The current immigration policy/enforcement is like having your front door unlocked at your own house and anyone can come in and stay. They sleep and eat the food in the fridg and even watch TV. As a resident of Hayward since 1957 I am appalled that you would take it upon yourself to speak for your constituents. I for one applaud Arizona for taking a stance when our government would not. I agree with numerous others in this city that your attention would be best served by solving the issues that face Hayward. The Hayward of 1957 is a far cry from the Hayward of 2010.
