Given the last move of the state to reimpose negotiations, it becomes clear that the district has not negotiated in good faith. If anyone, the district or the state, imposes a contract with considerable impacts on salaries, there will be even fewer people willing to take jobs in HUSD. Look at the web site. Give recent layoffs in surrounding districts, it is clear that any district with so many openings must do something to attract employees, not repel them. I call, once again, for an outside audit of the district viewable by the community and the employees. No more remodeling, no more teachers on assignment to the district, no more contracts with friends, etc.

In my own mind, I grow despondent with this explanation. Is it too late to seek a $200. parcel tax here in Hayward? The November election might seem the point in time at which we impose upon ourselves the $200 tax which Duran indicates we need.

I would not vote for such a parcel tax unless it was the will of a mahotiy expressed at a 'Town Hall Meeting' at which the single rule would be imposed upon speakers. " No lash back at past ommissions or oversights by the Board. All comments must be proactive in nature without descripition of past failts of the past!"

In other wirds, concentration upon the positive steps needed in future would be the guiding rule!

Meetings conducted directly by the Board of Trustees automatically see imposition of an opportunity for 'public comments' ! When was the last time the Board adoptred any idea exptressed at Public Comments?

Now have y'all goy it?le see creative funnd raisuing activitioes, by 'volunteers' which we see being utilized by many parochial por private schools.

Our leagal aids must 'zrero in' on the needed direct=t action involving monetary loss to the budgert imposed by neglectful paren=nts whio fail assurance of theuir children in cklas, ythus enabling full pay, ment of the avrrage daily attendence money!

Blog treders and contributors take note....Centennial hall is the east of our wories, Jump on the FCity Council.... let them 'lend the demolition money' to the school disytrict.... just board the damn Centennial hall up so that the nuts do not cause conflagration!
