I forgot to mention that Marlin Foxworth went from HUSD to Milpitas Unified and was fired after 2 years…guess he wasn’t so good either. You are welcome to check this fact out also.

Mr. kyle,
Let’s get this history of the financial problems in HUSD straight for the last time. You can check my information and you will find that it is correct.

1. The district’s financial problems began their downward spiral thanks to Marlin Foxworth and his financial officer Frank Remquist (not sure of the spelling. They negotiated a contract with HEA that was a GIFT of Public Funds and it is now killing the district.

2. Mr. Remquist played with the books and made the figures look much better than they were. This was discovered shortly after he was terminated.

3. Mr. Remquist took his financial skills to Vallejo Unified School District and sent them into bankruptsy. He was fired too late from there. I am not sure if they had a state takeover.

4. Mr. Remquist then went on to spoil the finances of a third district, what it was I am not sure.

5. Any superintendent that came in after Foxworth and his financial wizard would have been hard pressed to fix the problem.

6. The FicMak report that led to the county sending in fiscal managers, was the fault of Foxworth and Remquist.

7. Joan Kohl was not my pick for a superintendent, however I was not on any selection team. Remember that Larry Booth was only one of 5 members to vote to give her a contract. So why don’t you try calling them out too. Betty DeForrest, Ruth Self, Frank Wells, Myrna Truhill. All but Ms. Self still reside in this area. Try getting your pound of flesh from them.

Or is the real truth that you just feel compelled to somehow blame me for all of the woes of HUSD, because I am married to ONE of five who made the selection that you hate so much???? I invite you to research Mr. Remquist’s record in school districts.

Give it up kyle. You need to keep complaining about the Daily Review. I have not attacked you for any of your comments. Why must you continue to fill up this blog with your crap about me? Try acting like an adult and allowing others to read a post and formulate their own opinions about what is said. I don’t think that anything I have posted has swayed people one way or another, and none of the posts were designed to do that. I simply expressed my opinion and views, not about other posters but about what I perceive to be problems within HUSD. Please do the same. Thank you ahead of time for honoring my request. Do the Christian thing for once in your life.

wITHOUT A SINGLE POSITIVE, CREATIVE THOUGHT IN HER DIATRIBE SHE SUGGESTS CASTING A VOTE TO TURN OUT INCUMBENTS IN THIS AND THE NEXT ELECTION. SEEMS TO FORGET THAT HER HUBBY HELPED CREATE THE MESS WHEN THE VETTING COMMITTEE THAT CHOSE SUPT. KOHL FAILED US IN THEIR TRIP TO FLORIDA.

I CAN HARDLY WAIT FOR THE VOTE TALLY AND THE BOOTH ANALYSIS OF THE MISTAKES ELECTORATE MADE ON THE ‘MORROW. i SUSPECT IT WILL BE BITTER CYNCISM THAT SHE DISPLAYS.

Search through the November 1st edition of the Daily Review and note the ad by ANG which solicits aaedvertiements to San Jose Mercury News, Contra Costa Times and The Oakland Trigbune.

Argus, Daily Review and another paper in Pleasanton or ignored as are the ANG papers on the SF Pemninsula and rhe Journal in Marin County.

GTood luck in your new assignment of sewarching police blotters in Haywardm Fremont, Newark and Saqn Leandro as well as The Sheriff’s office….. we really need all the details on shootiongs, robbberies, armed hold ups at Banks and gang warfare.

The San Jose Mercury news will not sell in Central Alameda County and since the Oakland Tribune has deterioratede so sadly……I’ll be goihng back to the SF Chronicle. Expensive but full of news, except for Hayward.

Ms. Rocchio and Lucy’s Mom have summed it all up so well. The only prayer that the students have is that some people with a backbone are elected to the board. Things must change…Duran and all of her cronies must go…Ms. Heredia needs to remember why she ran for election, because she no longer represents the students, she simply spends her time condoning what the current administrations is doing and finding ways to pull Mr. Reynoso’s chain. How sad that students take a back seat to belittling fellow board members.
