I never know where to put stuff since we can’t start our own subjects, but in case anyone has been wondering besides me what is going in next to Kmart it is an Auto Stereo store. The current store is on Mission across the street from Walgreens, so they are moving down the street a bit. And the Mission McDonalds is now all remodeled! Now if only the loop et all would get finished.

Is that where the PayLess shoe store was on the corner?

  • Monica

Thanks Theresa for the info. Yes, Rebecca it used to be a Pay Less shoe store.

Do you know what’s going to happen to that strip mall? I heard, a long time ago, that it was going to be demolished.

  • Teresa Conti

Are you talking about the strip mall (there are so many) with the misspelled sign out front? Those plans did not work out per older story in this very newspaper. So, I guess not.

  • Teresa Conti

Personally, I thought they were building a KFC on the corner.

I miss that shoe store! As the mother of a son who loses his shoes (everything really) that shoe store helped me out on several times to get said son off to school.

  • Monica

Yep, that’s the one I’m talking about. I missed the article.
