I always root for the bulls …

And they aren’t from Chicago. They started the traditional running of the bulls over the weekend in Pamplona, Spain. And, sadly, only 13 humans were injured. I’m pretty sure, as usual, all the bulls were killed.

I’m no crazed, explosive-tossing animal rights guy. But, really, isn’t this the stupidest thing on the planet?

Bull-fighting goes beyond idiotic. I love it when the supporters defend it by either saying it’s a tradition (hey, so was slavery) or that it’s an “honorable” way for the bull to die. Like bulls have any concept of human honor – they just want these funny-dressed dickweeds to stop slamming barbs into their hides.

People who run with the bulls are morons. I’ve been chased by cows; it didn’t take much bravery on my part. Not when a giant animal is bearing down on you.
