I’m not saying you kids out there should take acid before you play sports. I’m just saying it worked for Dock Ellis, who threw a no-hitter in 1970 while he was on LSD. The following video is well-done and pretty hilarious.

How’d you like to be Dave Roberts, the losing pitcher against a guy on acid? Roberts gave up five hits, two runs in seven innings against a lineup that included Matty Alou, Clemente, Stargell and Al Oliver.
