My 19-month-old daughter has a cute habit of applauding when she likes something. And when she hears others applaud. Which is really great … unless she happens to be sitting with you while you’re watching the State of the Union.
I don’t know what’s wrong with these stupid people – it’s like two sides of a gym engage in a cheer competition. Or when the heavy metal singer tries to get one side of the arena to yell louder than the other.
Every time stupid Nancy Pelosi and stupid Joe Biden, or the stupid Republicans, or any of these political morons jumped up to applaud the President – which was about every 3.8 seconds – my daughter threw her hands in the air, yelled “yaaaayyyy” and clapped longer and louder than they did on TV. Which was cute the first 46 times. Then I had to turn the freakin TV off until I could find her something more productive to do. Like torture the dog.
