Here’s more evidence large, multi-jurisdictional criminal databases should be readily available on the Internet without having to pay people to track down info … because serial killers not as ruggedly handsome as Ted Bundy sometimes can’t always get dates the old fashion way (waiting for them to drink enough to say yes) and have to resort to computer dating or going on television.

We’re going to hear more and more of these stories in the future, but lucky for one girl, she decided to back out after selecting serial killer Rodney Alcala on “The Dating Game” back in the 70s.

When Alcala was on the show, he’d already been convicted in 1968 of raping an 8-year-old girl. He was convicted last month of killing four women and a child in the 70s. By backing out of the date, Cheryl Bradshaw may have saved her own life.

This is precisely why I want all my daughters to learn how to savagely kill with their bare hands. I can’t try to intimidate ALL the men they end up meeting. Though I have vowed to try …
