Discriminating against the dead

I realize that airline security has gotten a bit hysterical since 9/11, but I just don’t see how a dead person can hurt anyone on a plane.
Two British women were arrested Saturday at Liverpool’s John Lennon Airport for pushing a 91-year-old dead guy wearing sunglasses in a wheelchair through the airport, before trying to get him on a flight to Germany.
How do you say “Weekend at Bernie’s” in German?
The women were arrested on suspicion of failing to give notification of a death and were released on bail. Maybe they didn’t know.
The cause of death wasn’t known, but I’m guessing he died of being 91. I can’t help but wonder how they thought they could pull this off once the dead guy started to smell. I don’t hang around with a lot of dead people, but don’t they smell? I rode my bike past a dead deer once and nearly threw up.
