So last week we covered which five CDs you’d take if you had to be marooned on a desert island for the rest of your life Yes, I will be milking this concept for as many weeks as possible, until I run out of ideas of I simply forget all about it, like when the dog forgets who you are when you go on vacation.

So, again let’s assume there’s power on this island to which appliances can be connected. No, I have no idea how – ask the professor; he’s always busy ignoring Mary Ann’s advances because he’s busy thinking this stuff up. So, you have a TV in your hut but no cable or satellite dish. What five DVDs do you bring? Tell you what – we’ll say an entire season of a TV show counts as one DVD. Otherwise, one film equals one DVD.  I pick:

1) Arrested Development, (any season).

2) The Empire Strikes Back.

3) The Godfather.

4) Goodfellas.

5) Apocalypse Now.

I know – I’m a guy. Not picking the Blues Brothers hurts, but I can’t go to a desert island without Gob. He’ll provide the necessary comedy. “Yellowbeard” was a dark horse candidate, as was about ten Sean Penn and/or Gary Oldman movies.
