To really understand the greatness of Leslie Nielsen is to remember him as a dramatic actor. An incredibly over-dramatic actor
He was the perfect man to cast in Airplane! This guy was in every TV drama series ever, and even captained the Poseidon when it got rolled under him. He was just a shade less crazy in his over acting thanWilliam Shatner.
