State Sen. Joe Simitian, D-Palo Alto, will be holding his annual “sidewalk office hours” on Saturday in Redwood City and Thursday in San Carlos.

Participate in government. Give Simitian an earful about what matters to you and how well you think he’s doing his job. Voice your questions and comments about state legislative issues.

Simitian will be all ears from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday at the Redwood City Kiwanis Farmers Market, in the parking lot at Hamilton and Winslow streets.

He will also be available from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday at San Carlos Hot Harvest Nights in the 700 block of Laurel Street.

Simitian represents Atherton, East Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Redwood City and San Carlos in San Mateo County.

JUNE 5 UPDATE: Simitian will be holding more “sidewalk office hours” this weekend. Here’s the info:

June 9, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Palo Alto Farmers’ Market, behind the post office at Hamilton Avenue and Gilman Street.

June 10, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Menlo Park Farmers Market, on Chestnut Street between Santa Cruz and Menlo avenues.

More chances for the senator to lend you his ear!
