Recent police reports for Lafayette reveal vandalism and burglary reports.

Lafayette Police
Monday, Feb. 19
n BURGLARY — A resident who locked and parked his car at 3:30 p.m. at Village Center and Mount Diablo Boulevard returned an hour later to find someone had smashed the front passenger side window and removed items. Repairs were estimated at $300. The missing items were valued at $170.
n MALICIOUS MISCHIEF — A Crest Road resident reported her car vandalized between Feb. 18 and 19. Repairs were estimated at $500.
Tuesday, Feb. 20
n VANDALISM — A Hope Lane resident reported at 10 a.m. that between 3 and 7:30 a.m., someone broke the rear windshield of his car. Nothing was taken from inside. Repairs were estimated at $500.
Thursday, Feb. 22
n VANDALISM — A Berkeley resident who parked his vehicle on Brook Street and Hough Avenue at 10:30 a.m. returned at 5 p.m. to find human feces on the door handle and in the bed of the truck. The front windshield had been smashed with a brick and the front bumper damaged. Repairs were estimated at more than $1,000.
Saturday, Feb. 17
n BURGLARY — A Nordstrom Lane resident reported at 7:53 a.m. that someone broke the driver side window of his car and removed a wallet. Repairs were estimated at $200, and the missing items were valued at $550.
