Monday, March 12
MUSIC DISPUTE — A Dos Posos resident reported at 5 p.m. that she asked a neighbor to turn down his music, and he swore at her. The man subsequently made vulgar and threatening statements to officers.
MISSING MAN — An 82-year-old Cedar Terrace resident was reported missing at 7 p.m. by his daughter. The man apparently could not speak, and was just released by the hospital after suffering multiple strokes. Search and rescue teams eventually located him.
Tuesday, March 13
DRUGS — Police arrested a 44-year-old Fremont man and a 31-year-old Oakland man at Shakespeare Festival Way for outstanding warrants and possession of a syringe. Officers also found five bags of unopened property, such as CD players and over-the-counter medication, that the men said did not belong to them.
Thursday, March 15
THEFT — A Camino Sobrante resident reported two bikes stolen from his garage, where the door was left open.
Saturday, March 17
VANDALISM — There were a number of cases of reported vandalism to driveway lights overnight on Dalewood Drive, Lombardy Lane, Sundown Terrace and Orinda View Road.
VANDALISM — A St. Stephens Drive church reported at 8:02 a.m. that seven windows had been broken.
Monday, March 19
DRUGS — Officers arrested a 51-year-old Oakland man for outstanding warrants and possessing a syringe. Officers also found bags of a white crystal-like substance in his sock and in his groin area.
