The Orinda City Council will be talking about its ordinance against “unruly private parties” at its meeting on Monday.

City staff is recommending ordinance changes that would make it easier to crack down on underage drinking, part of ongoing efforts in Orinda to address teenage drinking.

The proposed changes would reduce the number of underage revelers that constitute a party, and eliminate the cap on response costs that could be recovered from responsible parties.

The Orinda City Council meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the Library Auditorium, 24 Orinda Way.
